Louis Sachar is brilliant. (Read There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom and Sixth Grade Secrets too). He weaves together the most incredible, interesting story. I stayed up way too late finishing it, something that doesn't happen that often anymore. Read it!!!!

Perfect for second/third grade to read alone. Perfect for a parent to read aloud. Pictures on every page, but a chapter book with the most beautiful, intricate, yet easy to understand language ever. There are four in the series, and my kids can't get enough of them.

Oh, how we love Epossumondas. Hysterical, rythmic, silly, sweet. The best illustrations. They are all wonderful and will make you laugh. The language is so good, so fun to read, you can't help but do a little southern accent as you go. Check them out!
