Curtsies and Conspiracies

I love this series! It's totally light, totally fun, totally all over the place.

I love it, and I was so happy to find Curties and Conspiracies even better than the first. Can't wait for number three!

Sophronia's first year at Mademoiselle Geraldine's Finishing Academy for Young Ladies of Quality has certainly been rousing! For one thing, finishing school is training her to be a spy--won't Mumsy be surprised? Furthermore, Sophronia got mixed up in an intrigue over a stolen device and had a cheese pie thrown at her in a most horrid display of poor manners.

Now, as she sneaks around the dirigible school, eavesdropping on the teachers' quarters and making clandestine climbs to the ship's boiler room, she learns that there may be more to a field trip to London than is apparent at first. A conspiracy is afoot--one with dire implications for both supernaturals and humans. Sophronia must rely on her training to discover who is behind the dangerous plot-and survive the London Season with a full dance card.

Ages 12 and up.

  1. Thanks for the suggestion! I downloaded the first one as an audiobook and started listening yesterday. I'm loving it so far.

Also, I wanted to tell you: My 12-year-old daughter devoured Mara, Daughter of the Nile, which was one of the books she received for Christmas (thanks to your suggestion!). She has now declared it one of her all-time favorites. And my 10-year-old son has been raving about The Unfortunate Son, which was one of his Christmas books. I'm looking forward to reading both, after I finish my own new books:). Thanks for being such a reliable source for terrific book recommendations!
