A Matter of Magic

I'm posting about one of my favorite books of all time—Mairelon the Magician by Patricia Wrede. I also equally love the sequel, The Magician's Ward. They are now combined and titled, A Matter of Magic.

Let me tell you something. I love these books. Love them. You may not. You may think they stink, but if you do, please do not tell me, because there may be a showdown. Or a shoot out. My point is, it could get messy, as it nearly did when Lucy told me just today that she loved Mairelon the Magician but not The Magician's Ward.

Oooooooh, she is cleaning the kitchen tonight, I'll tell you what.

Speaking of wonderful, here is a link to my new most favorite chamber music piece, The American Quartet by Dvorak. 

This does actually beat out A Matter of Magic if it can be compared. But little else does!
