The Menagerie—ten and up

Calvin loves this series and he really isn't a fantasy guy. He's been wandering around the house, reading both books whenever he doesn't have anything else to do. 

For any kid who loves adventure or fantasy, or anything exciting to read.

By the way—we watched a great little French movie the other day (dubbed in English). Ernest and Celestine. Simple animation. Darling story (and I'm really picky—I can hardly watch anything anymore). Worth checking out! 

Fans of Brandon Mull’s Fablehaven series and The Spiderwick Chronicles will dive into this magical, mythical fantasy series from Kari Sutherland and Tui T.
